Place scrapbook paper design side up onto the Standard 12” x 12” Mat. Load mat into the ScaNCut2 Machine.
With ScanNCut2 Machine, set pattern design #AR-0030. Adjust size to fit the interior of the tray. Touch OK then cut, and start.
Repeat, cutting two of border design #BO-A00, measuring 11” x .75”.
Using the paintbrush, paint wood tray with diluted white acrylic paint (1 part paint to 2 parts water). Let dry.
Apply dots of glue to the back side of the cut doily design and center onto the inside bottom of tray. Repeat adhering one border design to each side of tray.
Using a craft knife, ruler and mat, cut acrylic sheet to fit the inside dimensions of the tray. Place ruler against acrylic sheet and score with craft knife. Repeat several times. Using hands, gently apply pressure to scored line, and break. Repeat with other sides. Remove film from both sides of the sheet and insert into the tray, covering the cut design. Acrylic sheets can be purchased at home improvement, art, and hardware stores.
Refer to photo, glue one border strip to each long side of tray.
If you have room on your paper, cut additional sizes of border strips and save for future projects, such as card making.
Cut an additional doily shape to use as a stencil for another project.
If you have your own doily or other design, scan into the ScanNCut2 and cut.
