Sweet Valentine Placemat

Valentine Placemat

Can you believe it’s 2018? Even though it’s only January, I’m thinking ahead to next month and Valentine’s Day.

I love that we get to use bright,  happy colors to celebrate those we love. One of my favorite ways to decorate for this heart-filled holiday is to create fun place settings.

This year, I decided to make Valentine Placemats, and they turned out beautifully!

Materials:

Brother ScanNCut2

2- 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of adhesive-backed felt

1-8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of white felt

Acrylic craft paint, red

Stencil brush

Scissors

Fabric glue

Instructions:

From the menu select and cut one of #AR-O017,  3.31″ x 3.94 ” from paper.  Use cut heart as a stencil.

Use the stencil to create six hearts with red paint onto white fabric.  Remove film from one piece of felt.  Adhere stenciled fabric heart onto the sticky side of the felt.  Cut 1/8″ around heart edge with scissors
