Want to Win a Handmade Journal and a Copy of My Book?

Writing books and magazines articles,  requires making a model of the project as an example.  Sometimes it also requires step-outs (projects in various stages of completion).   I have LOTS of models and step-outs and would like to share some of them with you.

I love February for many reasons.  Living in northern Illinois I like to think ahead to March, and spring being right around the corner.  It is also my birthday month and last year was a big number  for me.  One that  I was not looking forward to celebrating.   THIS year, I am very excited about my birthday, and would like to share my happiness with  all of you.  What better way then a giveaway!

I am giving away this journal and

2-2-13book giveaway

a copy of my book, More Fabric Art Collage.

  13. I Started making and doing crafts when I was 12 years old at a Craft Store in Southern California. Since I was so young they could not pay me but they gave me a credit to use in the store so then I would get supplies and make things and sell them. That was 48 years ago and over the years it has been many different things that have interested me. When I saw your fabric art Valentines post today, I decided I am going to give this a try along with this I am very interested in the whole altered art medium and want to try my hand at that. If you do the math above you will see that I am going to be 60 years old this month. I feel like the clock is ticking and I hope that I am blessed with many more years so that I can do all the projects that I am still wanting to do. I would love to win the journal and the Fabric Art Collage Book.

  14. Love your work! Thanks for the chance to win your book and journal. And a Happy Birthday to you.

  15. Anything and everything! I love to try new things! If I can’t afford it, I will try to make it! That’s how I taught myself to quilt. I wanted a hand made quilt so bad but couldn’t afford the prices! Right now I’m enjoying decorating Dollar Store notebooks and making cards. I love all the vintage embellishments that you can add! Mostly what I make is given away as gifts. I love crafting to that persons personality!

  16. I actually create wool mittens made from wool sweaters. I love personally designing both scarves and mittens that fit the individual’s personality and style.

  17. I am so glad I found your new blog/web site. I love your work and have your first book. I’m a big fan, and of course, that means I like to make anything mixed media and altered art.

  18. I am in love with this fabric art book. I have been checking out your work since I heard of 21 Secrets. I was checking out the artist work. I have a love for making mini books and just beginning to try and use fabric in my books. I have some very old pieces of cloth, aprons, dresser scarves, and quilts and I want to use them without wasting an inch. The fabrics they used were beautiful, even if it doesn’t have anything embroidered on it. I still want to use that section somewhere in my work also. My sister did a lot of leg work to find these precious pieces and I’ve just been procrastinating my start. This giveaway would be a great inspiration to me to get started.
